The RELZXTE is a recessed edgelit aluminum LED exit sign built around a UV-stabilized, ultra-clear acrylic edgelit panel for consistent, uniform illumination with ultra-bright, energy-efficient, long-life Red or Green LED lettering. It’s available in Single Face or Double Face configuration, with the Double Face version utilizing a factory-installed silver or white mylar background panel. Choose a Clear, Mirror, or White edgelit panel (Clear is available on Single Face units only), and a premium-grade extruded aluminum housing with an easily detachable trim assembly in White, Black, or natural Aluminum finish for simple service and maintenance access. The sign is designed for drywall or drop-ceiling recessed mount, with bar hangers included; the optional WM (Wall Mount) accessory allows the unit to be wall recessed mounted instead. Self-adhesive Chevron appliques and a guide template are provided for directional indication. Dual 120/277V input voltage is standard. Choose the AC-only version for continuously powered signage, or the Battery Backup (EM) version, which adds a 4.8V long-life, maintenance-free rechargeable NiCd battery with an internal solid-state transfer switch for a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency illumination on power loss, a fully automatic two-rate charger that recharges a discharged battery within 24 hours, and a charge-rate/power “ON” LED indicator light with a push-to-test switch for mandated code compliance testing.
Mandated emergency egress and exit-route identification for offices, retail, healthcare, education, hospitality, and other commercial interiors where a clean, flush-recessed edgelit exit sign is preferred over a surface- or edge-mounted unit — including drywall and drop-ceiling installations, or wall-recessed applications with the optional WM accessory.
