The SXTEU is a durable, powder-coated 20-gauge steel LED exit sign built for reliable, code-compliant emergency egress identification. It features ultra-bright, energy-efficient, long-life Red or Green LED lettering, dual 120/277V input voltage, and a unique design that allows double-face conversion right in the field, so a single-face unit can be converted to double-face without replacing the fixture. Field-selectable steel knockout Chevron directional indicators let you set the egress path at install time, with a mounting canopy included for top or end mount and a universal knockout pattern on the back plate for wall mount. Choose the AC-only version for continuously powered signage, or the Battery Backup (EM) version, which adds a 4.8V long-life, maintenance-free rechargeable NiCd battery with an internal solid-state transfer switch for a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency illumination on power loss, plus a fully automatic two-rate charger that recharges a discharged battery within 24 hours and a charge/power “ON” LED indicator with push-to-test switch for mandated code compliance testing. The durable steel housing ships in White or Black powder-coat finish.
