Description

The WSD-EMS8W27-LT20 Cold Pack Emergency LED Driver is an extreme-temperature-rated 8W battery backup driver built to operate from -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to 140°F) — well beyond the range of a standard emergency driver — making it a strong fit for cold storage, unheated warehouses, parking structures, and other cold-climate commercial spaces. It pairs with a separate cold-rated Li-ion battery case for flexible installation and keeps LED fixtures lit for a full 90 minutes during a power outage, automatically switching to emergency power when the AC supply is interrupted and returning to normal charging once power is restored. It is UL Listed to UL924 and CSA C22.2 No.141 for both factory and field installation.

• M12 Metal test switch, UL 2464 rated cable, 24AWG, 300V, 80°C, 21.65″ (550mm) lead
• Press the test switch twice to cut off emergency mode for shipment and storage
• Requires an unswitched AC power source on the same branch circuit as the AC LED driver
• Do not use outdoors; do not mount near gas or electric heaters; not for use in an air-handling fixture
• For use with grounded, UL Listed LED luminaires, and the case should be grounded
• Sealed, non-maintenance battery that is not field replaceable — replace the entire unit if the battery fails
• Manufacturer advises confirming product/system compatibility before final installation
• Please charge the battery continuously for >48 hours on first use to activate the full battery cells; recharge for 48 hours every 6 months during storage (maximum 1-year shelf life before recharge is required to avoid battery damage, not covered under warranty)
