Description

The BillDa Emergency LED Driver is a self-testing battery backup driver that keeps LED panels, troffers, and linear high bay fixtures lit during a power outage. It outputs 170V DC and connects to a fixture’s 0-10V dimming wires (DIM+/DIM-) when the fixture’s normal driver power exceeds the emergency driver’s rated output. Available in 8W, 15W, and 25W output tiers to match a range of fixture wattages, it is UL Listed and built for indoor dry and damp locations.

• Built-in self-test function via a testing button; double-click in emergency mode to end the current emergency test stage
• Must connect to the fixture’s 0-10V dimming wires (DIM+/DIM-) whenever the LED luminaire’s power exceeds the emergency driver’s rated output; compatible with an optional 12VDC sensor (wires must connect to the emergency driver’s 12V sensor wires)
• Three wiring configurations depending on whether the LED fixture’s normal driver power is higher or lower than the emergency driver’s output power — see manufacturer’s wiring diagrams
• Designed for dry and damp locations only — do not use outdoors, and do not mount near gas or electric heaters
• Not for use in an air-handling fixture

• Battery maintenance is required: charge continuously for more than 24 hours on first use to activate the battery cells; recharge for 24 hours every 6 months during storage; can be stocked for up to 1 year — batteries may be damaged if not installed and recharged within a year, and replacement in that case is not covered under warranty
