Description

The CEMXTE is a remote-capable, thermoplastic LED exit sign built for reliable, code-compliant emergency egress lighting. It features ultra-bright, energy-efficient Red or Green LED lettering, universal single- or double-face configuration, and dual 120/277V input voltage. A 3.6V long-life, maintenance-free rechargeable NiCd battery with an internal solid-state transfer switch automatically provides a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency illumination on power loss, and a fully automatic two-rate charger recharges a discharged battery within 24 hours. A bi-color LED indicator light alerts occupants to battery condition (green for normal, red for check battery), alongside a charge/power “ON” LED and a push-to-test switch for mandated code compliance testing. The injection-molded, engineering-grade, 5VA flame-retardant thermoplastic housing is high-impact resistant, with snap-out Chevron directional indicators and a mounting canopy included for top or end mount, plus a universal knockout pattern on the back plate for wall mount.
