Description

The MLF04 8ft Folding is an 8ft LED linear strip light with an internal hinge design that lets the fixture fold in half for shipping, cutting packaging materials and lowering shipping, storage space, and freight costs. Once unpacked, it unfolds smoothly and locks securely for installation, at which point it performs exactly like the standard 8ft MLF04: both color temperature and output wattage are adjustable right in the field from a single SKU. A cold-rolled steel housing doubles as the LED heatsink, and a PC lens shapes the output for uniform, comfortable light at up to 156 lm/W. Pick any of 5 CCTs (2700K-5000K) and any of 4 wattage/output levels (70W down to 46W) on site, with no need to stock multiple SKUs.

All 20 combinations (4 wattage levels × 5 CCTs) are field-selectable on the same fixture, identical to the non-folding 8ft/70W unit — all values are design/typical, measured at 25°C (±5°C) per the manufacturer’s data; actual performance may vary by installation. Note that the 3500K and 4000K lumen figures both print as 7187lm at Lv4 in the manufacturer’s own table — that appears to be the source data itself rather than a transcription error, since the same near-identical overlap pattern also shows up elsewhere in this fixture’s performance tables.
