The WLEZXTEU is a compact, UL Listed wet location LED exit sign built from 5VA flame-retardant, UV-stabilized polycarbonate for reliable performance in harsh outdoor and washdown-prone environments. It features ultra-bright, energy-efficient, long-life Red or Green LED lettering, single- or double-face configuration, and dual 120/277V input voltage. A corrosion-resistant enclosure with an engineering-grade silicone gasket and a high-impact, UV-stabilized polycarbonate clear lens keep the unit sealed against moisture, while EZ snap-out Chevron directional indicators and knockouts for conduit-feed applications simplify installation. A polycarbonate mounting canopy is included for top or end mount, with a universal knockout pattern on the back plate for wall mount. Choose the AC-only version for continuously powered signage, or the Battery Backup (EM-CW) version, which adds a 4.8V long-life, maintenance-free rechargeable NiCd battery rated to the manufacturer’s Cold Weather Standard, with an internal solid-state transfer switch for a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency illumination on power loss, a fully automatic two-rate charger that recharges a discharged battery within 24 hours, and a unique bi-color LED indicator that alerts occupants to battery condition (green = normal, red = check battery). The housing ships in White (with white faceplate), Black (with black faceplate), or Gray (with white faceplate) finish.
