Description

The BRI810-C-F is a line voltage microwave bi-level occupancy sensor that detects motion across a full 360° field at a working frequency of 5.8GHz. Unlike an infrared sensor, its microwave detection stays stable across a wide temperature range and works reliably through common obstructions. It combines occupancy detection with built-in daylight harvesting and 0-10V dimming control, automatically switching or dimming connected lighting based on both presence and available natural light, then stepping down to an adjustable standby dimming level after the space is vacated.

• 360° microwave motion detection at 5.8GHz; detection radius up to 26ft (8m), maximum mounting height 40ft
• High-frequency output is less than 0.2mW — about 1/5000th the transmission power of a mobile phone
• Built-in daylight sensor (photocell): when there’s sufficient natural light, the sensor won’t switch the light on even when presence is detected; when natural light is insufficient, it switches the light on automatically when someone enters
• Bi-level operation: after the hold time elapses with no motion, the light dims to an adjustable standby level (0%/10%/30%/50%) rather than switching off immediately; after the standby time elapses, the light switches off automatically
• 0-10V dimming control output, 25mA max sinking current; compatible with both dimming and non-dimming ballasts/LED drivers (separate wiring diagrams provided for each)
• Detection sensitivity adjustable via DIP switch: 20%/50%/75%/100%
• Hold time adjustable via DIP switch: 10 seconds, 1, 5, 15, or 30 minutes
• Standby time adjustable via DIP switch: 1, 5, 15, 60 minutes, or infinite (no automatic shutoff)
• Daylight sensor threshold adjustable via a second DIP switch: disabled, 10 lux, 30 lux, or 50 lux
• Standby dimming level adjustable via the same second DIP switch: 0%, 10%, 30%, or 50%
• All parameters can also be set remotely using the optional RC-100 remote control
• 15-second warm-up after power connection; the light stays on for 15 seconds before the sensor begins normal dimming operation
• Factory default settings: 100% sensitivity, 10-second hold time, 30 lux daylight threshold, 30% standby dimming level, 60-minute standby time
• Any setting changed by DIP switch or remote control requires the connected light to be turned on/off once to confirm
• Power supply: 120/277VAC, 50/60Hz
• Maximum load: 600W @ 120V resistive/tungsten; 800VA @ 120V or 1200VA @ 277V electronic ballast (LED)
