Who We Are
One Source Light (“One Source Light,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website onesourcelight.com (the “Site”), where we sell commercial and architectural lighting products. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
- Information you provide directly — when you create an account, place an order, request a quote, sign up for updates, or contact customer support, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, and the details of your order or inquiry.
- Payment information — when you check out, your payment is processed directly by our payment providers (PayPal and Amazon Pay). We do not store your full credit card number on our servers; our payment providers handle and store that information under their own privacy policies.
- Order and account information — order history, products viewed or purchased, shipping and delivery status, and any support requests tied to your account.
- Automatically collected information — when you browse the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect information through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We use the following tools to operate the Site, measure how it is used, and show relevant ads:
- Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, and Google Merchant Center. We use Google Ads to run advertising campaigns and Google Merchant Center to list our products on Google Shopping. We have enabled Google’s “Enhanced Conversions” feature, which sends Google a cryptographically hashed (not plain text) version of information such as your email address or phone number, when you provide it at checkout or elsewhere on the Site, so that Google can measure ad performance more accurately. - Microsoft Advertising (Microsoft UET). We use the Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking (UET) tag to measure the performance of our Microsoft/Bing advertising campaigns and to show you relevant ads on Microsoft’s network. Microsoft Advertising may collect information about your visit to our Site, such as pages viewed and actions taken, through cookies and similar technologies for these purposes. - Other cookies. We use cookies required for the Site to function, such as keeping items in your cart and keeping you logged in, and cookies that remember your preferences.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect how parts of the Site work, such as your shopping cart.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- process and fulfill your orders, including payment, shipping, and customer support;
- create and manage your account;
- respond to quote requests and customer service inquiries;
- send order confirmations, shipping updates, and, if you opt in, marketing communications;
- measure and improve the performance of our advertising on Google and Microsoft Advertising;
- maintain the security of the Site and prevent fraud; and
- comply with applicable legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
Who We Share Your Information With
We share personal information with the following categories of service providers, only as needed to operate our business:
- Payment processors — PayPal and Amazon Pay, to process your payment.
- Shipping carrier — UPS, to calculate shipping rates, deliver your order, and provide shipment tracking.
- Advertising and analytics platforms — Google (Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, Google Tag Manager) and Microsoft Advertising, as described above.
- Service providers who help us run the Site, such as our web hosting provider, email delivery service, and customer support tools, under obligations to protect your information.
- Legal and safety purposes — if required to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of One Source Light, our customers, or others.
We do not sell your personal information for money. As described in the California Privacy Rights section below, sharing data with advertising partners like Google and Microsoft for interest-based advertising may be considered a “sale” or “share” under California law, and you have the right to opt out of that sharing.
How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep order and account information for as long as needed to fulfill the purpose it was collected for, including to process your order, provide customer support, comply with our legal and tax/accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information except where we are required or permitted to keep it, for example order records needed for tax purposes.
Your Choices and Rights
You can:
- review and update your account information by logging into My Account;
- unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link included in those emails;
- ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@onesourcelight.com.
We will respond to your request within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity before doing so.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
- Right to know what personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, or sold/shared about you, and the categories of sources, purposes, and third parties involved.
- Right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. As described above, we share certain information, such as hashed contact details and browsing activity, with Google and Microsoft Advertising for advertising purposes, which may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under California law. You can opt out of this sharing by emailing support@onesourcelight.com with the subject line “California Opt-Out Request,” and we will stop sharing your information for these purposes going forward.
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@onesourcelight.com. We may ask for information to verify your identity before processing your request.
In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information, as defined by the CCPA: identifiers (such as name, email, phone number, address, and IP address); commercial information (such as order history); and internet or other electronic network activity information (such as browsing and click activity on the Site). We have shared identifiers and internet activity information with our advertising partners (Google and Microsoft Advertising) for advertising purposes, as described above.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for business and adult consumer customers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@onesourcelight.com so we can delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
